Our First Anniversary - Jeju Island, South Korea

This is the view from the patio of our hotel room.
Below are pictures of our day trip around the island.

This is the view as we're coming out of Manjanggul cave.

Driving along the sea.

The next pictures are parts of rocky islands we saw on a boat tour.

The next 2 are of Seongsan Ilchulbong, a rock with a bowl on the top.

Next are pictures of Tom and I holding onto the Korean flag on the back of the boat.

More pictures of random tourist stops around the island.

The next 2 are of Tom and I in front of Sangumburi, biggest crater in South Korea.

Below are rock walls made of volcanic rock.

Below is Jusangjeolli, it looks like there are pillars in the rocks.

Below are some pictures from another tourist stop where there is a waterfall at the end.

Tom is crouching next to the God of fertility. These statues are all over the island.

More tourist stops.

An old woman's shrine with huts and a pig pen.
The inside of a Korean museum showing how fishermen lived many years ago.
This is the start of our long hike up Mt. Hallasan, an inactive volcanic mountain.

4 hours later...finally at the top of the trail!
